i want some respect around in
this place
alans just left the office so i'm
taking over for the next few hours!
its me, v-bug, alans orange beetle
and ive just got off the phone.
this guy from somewhere called
alabama said "heys its joe stick alan on the phone". i told him
" hes gone home now to see his kids and stuff"
"can i help you joe?"
He said, "who are you?" i said, "its
me v-bug and i will be able to fix you up no problem"
he then tells me if alan wants his
cash in the bank to ring him in the morning. i put the phone
down. i forgot to say thanks and bye for now. bit rude i know.
anyway ...
... since alan left the office today i got
to thinking after listening to him going on and on all day
long
see thing is i have opinions
but alan wont hear me out. nope, never does.
and to be honest it gets on my
nerves when the other crazy copywriters come round to talk biz
with him.
they all stare at me and say how
great i look for my age but alan ... never gives me the
attention i really want.
im going to show him how valuable i
really am.
so i thought, he thinks hes so
cool with his collar turned up, his big black curly hair and
those daft red square plastic glasses he insists on wearing.
and he doesnt give me the respect i deserve when
cruising around town in me. so i hatched this plan only last week.
see i reckon if i sent out some kind
of email offer thing and it brought in some new business well not only
would he have a smile in his ever fatter face but i would be in
line for some new bodywork also with the extra cash ...
so i am going to tell you this but
dont tell him it came from me or im scrap metal!
alan is the kindda guy that WILL
give 100% at all times, no sweat.
sure he irritates me to death but he walks the walk and does the talk. all in all hes a great guy.
apart from that but real
respected copywriters rave about his work and so do his
customers.
only yesterday i heard this guy on
the phone telling alan how he had increased his business enough
to move to a new bigger home from alans work.
heck thats what is all about for
sure.
anyway i want a new paint job and
some new seat covers so
here is how it really is with him.
you might be a little scared of
hiring him cause of the way he looks. you might be wondering if its going to be worth
investment.
you might not be sure if hes (any good after reading
this email you probably think hes really nuts).
i want you to know this then. if you
decide to let him write a few of those power word things for you
and you dont like it next time he jumps in me and wants to drive
around looking like a 60's retro dude i wont start on purpose.
in fact i wont start for him again
unless he sorts you out. i know deep down hes not like that
anyway.
he always does a great job all you
have to do is email or call him and if he asks who sent you tell
him it was me ... v-bug.
